This is a really important question so we hope you don’t mind that we publish our response.
We have been receiving this question a lot, and we see the validity in it. However, the goals of OccupyTO and OccupyWallSt. involve the ideas and suggestions of all of those who occupy the 99% of Canada and The World. The goal is to have not multiple causes, multiple organizations, but one organization, one cause, built upon the ideas and suggestions of everyone. That unified movement can only be accomplished through the democratic process of our Assemblies.
However, because of the recent concern about our schedule, we will be opening the discussion to the idea of civil action on the 15th, at least to make our presence known. If the consensus of the General Assembly at the end of the day is to march - legal, media, and logistics will adjust our strategies accordingly.
